Bill Lamoreaux

Bill has over 45 years’ experience in employment law, labor law, personal injury, and general civil litigation representing employers, employees and government agencies in numerous labor and non-union employment disputes including employment discrimination, fair labor standards including overtime, family, non-compete disputes, commission disputes, on the job work injury and disease, non-subscriber cases, labor contracts, and employment contracts.

He has taught alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation, and negotiations in labor and employment courses as an adjunct professor for over 25 years at the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management and undergraduate school and at the University of North Texas.

He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment Law and in Civil Trial Law. His Martindale Hubbell rating is “AV”, the highest possible professional rating from this nationally recognized legal directory.

His alternative dispute resolution experience includes arbitrating disputes for the American Arbitration Association since 1996, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (and its predecessors the New York Stock Exchange and thr National Association of Securities Dealers), Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Dispute Solutions, Inc. and in privately negotiated arbitration disputes.

He is a former chair of the Dallas Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section, a contributor to The Developing Labor Law (an American Bar Association publication updated annually) from 1975 to present, is currently a director of the Dallas Veterans Administration Research Corporation, has served as a director of the Addison Texas Airport Board, and has served on the State Bar of Texas District 6A Grievance Committee.
